Everyone knows that cats are notoriously independent, aloof even. Sometimes you can live with a cat for 10 years and still not be able to convince him that you should be friends. It’s a little known fact, however, that if you read your cat poetry he won’t be able to resist you or your ever so loungeable lap. And by “cat poetry” I mean poetry about cats, for cats, and BY cats.

So next time you’re yearning for a little kitty cuddling, bust out the Yeats or Whitman or Fluffy.
