This Old House

Well, nothing makes moving into a new house more official than creating a video tour of that house, which is exactly what my house mates and I did yesterday!

To christen the new (old) house I do a video walk through and welcome all of you into our abode. So, goodbye ManHouse; hello AppHouse!

Coming soon: A commemorative post about ManHouse.

  1. LMAO….I had a feeling Dan was going to jump out…and I still jumped a mile when he did.

Also, your street feels like the streets in Harry Potter 🙂 And the back alley feels like the alleys in Monty Python’s “The Meaning of Life”, the bit where they sing “Every Sperm is Sacred”.

Great new place though! Looks like it’ll be fun 🙂

  2. Great house! Thanks for the tour!! It’s a great amount of space for the 4 of your, and a real bonus to have a back yard – great choice!!

  3. Nice house! I like its curb appeal and the streetscape. It’s a big change from ManHouse and II’m sure you’re going to enjoy it. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

  4. Great tour,as always. Where is the spot for the roses?
How much sun does that spot get? (roses need a good 6-8 hours a day)
I would go with a rose that repeat blooms and has a fragrance,if possible. They love to be watered but do not like to stand in water!

    1. We were thinking in the front yard. There are two squares where paving stones are missing, so we’d use that space. The house is west-facing, so we get afternoon sun, but once the daylight savings kicks in we won’t get much there. Our other thought was some kind of mini cherry tree. There are a couple of those along this street, so they seem to do all right.
