First Supper

One of the first nights in the new house I decided to make ruz and lubee,  a meal usually fit to serve about 8. I decided that I would invite those of the boys who were in the house to eat with me, since it makes a lot. Little did I know, I’m living with people who, apparently, hadn’t eaten in days and didn’t think they’d be eating again anytime soon. Needless to say, there were no leftovers. So, with my modest and their larger-than-you-could-imagine servings, we headed to our make shift dining table of painters scaffolding with milk crate and boxes of tiles for seating.

Since I did the cooking, the boys were gracious enough to do the washing up the only way they know how. In my bathtub.

Doing the dishes, aka washing up

Surprisingly, or perhaps not, they did the dishes more frequently before we had a kitchen faucet installed.
