Here is a GIF of my cat, at first acting a little camera shy, before eventually giving in and looking up and showing off her adorable face (and apparently cold, shark-eyes). After successfully coercing her into posing for me I have decided to enter her into cat show business. I’m going to start touring the cat audition circuit every day until we land the dream role: the live action, real-cat interpretation of Lloyd Webber’s seminal classic Cats (obviously).

Of course, I’ll have to quit my job and devote all my time to train her to sing and dance. I’ve got a pretty good head start though, she already knows how to jump on my lap when I pat my legs for a few minutes and call her name repeatedly, with intermittent “come on” and “spss, spss, spss” sounds. I don’t know if that’s already in the choreography for the show, but I’m sure we can work it in if not. I’m sure the directors will want to showcase her strong suit.
