For anyone who is familiar with my blog, you might remember that in the past I have made “art” out of wire. I don’t do it as much any more (I’ve had one project on the go since last Christmas) but I am not opposed to it.

Recently, a friend reached out to me to find out if I still made wire things. Her friend had seen some wooden hangers on Etsy with customized names attached to them, in wire. They asked me if I could do that as a surprise wedding gift for a bride and her bridesmaids. Not one to deny someone anything wedding related, I agreed!

So, over the course of a few hours, I turned a hobby into a CASH MACHINE (not really, but really).

And guess what, the Kowalenkos became the Kowalenkos TODAY! They got married today. So congrats to them, hope the party is still going strong!
