Oops! I missed my weekend gif post. I will make amends!

This weekend was amazing and chalk full of fun. Friday night I sang karaoke at a friend’s birthday party, and with that, of course, I did a little dancing. There are just some songs you can’t deny a little shimmy. I am a sucker for karaoke and I don’t think I’ve ever said no to an invitation to hear my own voice through a microphone.

I sang my official karaoke track, I Swear by All-4-One. This is my favourite karaoke song not only because it’s a crowd pleaser but because it reminds me of a simpler time. A simpler time when I was the roller rink limbo champion. A simpler time when going to a roller rink was a legitimate school event. A simpler time when roller rinks actually existed. A well-balanced karaoke night, however can’t be all ballads and Celine Dion, no matter how much we might want that. For this reason, Ginuwine’s Pony is a must, must, to get the party started!

Anyone who knows the song (or Fresh Prince of Bel Air) knows there is a specific dance that goes with it. It’s essentially the original Gangnam Style dance. Timeless? Yes! Classic? Yes! But can an actual pony do the moves? I mean…probably not, but look how cute this pony is trying!
