After many bumps in the road including cancelled flights and wasted train tickets my family finally arrived in England to spend Christmas with me at my house!

We had lots of fun in York, and even though we had to forego our out of town plans, we saw a lot, did a lot, and ate a lot right here in York!

While it was untraditional for our family it was a really awesome Christmas and definitely one to remember. We realised one night at dinner that this was actually our first ever destination-oriented family vacation that didn’t involve visiting other friends or family, and it only took 25+ years to happen!
