This post is slightly belated but as of November 1st, my blog (and my blogging) turned one year old! Also, my mum turned 55; happy birthday!

I’ve been having a lot of fun blogging. I do wish I would do more but sometimes I just can’t work up the initiative. I am going to resolve to post more things, even if they aren’t big write ups.

Since starting this, my first blog, I have teamed up with friends to be a part of two other blogs both of which get updated regularly (or, at least, they used to).  My film blog is still going strong and will continue to do so as my housemates and I slowly watch our way through the best 250 films of all time.

My pub blog, where I go to, drink at, and write about the pubs around York kind of got canned when Ron moved out of York. But, we still have several pubs that we visited but about which we’ve yet to post. The only catch with them posts is that some of them mention the Christmas atmosphere in the pub, as we visited them in the winter. Luckily, it’s been almost a year since we stopped posting for our visits to Canada last December so the relevance of our dated writing is coming around again! I think we might revive the pub blog soon, at least long enough to finish off the pubs we already visited.

Well, that’s my blog world update for now. Thanks again to all my readers for sticking with me for a whole year! I’ve got 7 more months in the UK to write about and, hey, I might even write about life in Canada once I’m back!
