I took this picture and I had to get really close to the bee to do it. I realise that bumble bees don’t sting, but it was still scary. UPDATE: According the http://www.bumblebees.org, they do sting and their stingers are unbarbed which means they can sting repeatedly with no harm to themselves, which subsequently means amplified harm to me! I could have been massacred. Due to danger factors alone, this photo is now worth way more.

Nice photo. I have been taking lots of photos of bees recently and I have never seen one look like it was sitting like that. What a great moment to capture!
