What Up, Wakefield?

Day 21!

Today is indeed day 21, but the subject of today’s video is mostly from Night 20, with the exception of a bit from this morning. My friend Selina and I took the train to Wakefield yesterday, a small town about 30 minutes away from York, because my Canadian friend Sean was performing there with his dance company, Rhythm of the Dance! I recorded the whole trip and put together a sampling for you to enjoy!

It was really fun to get out of York for a bit and to see a friendly Canadian face. We also got to hang out with a bunch of the other performers, who were all super nice. At least I think they were nice; one of them had an indistinguishably thick Irish accent so I couldn’t understand half of what he said, but from what I did hear he was pretty nice, too.

I want to say thanks to Michelle for telling me that Sean was coming to my hood, and thanks to Sean for hooking us up with those sweet, sweet tickets, and thanks to Wakefield for being so small and easy to navigate.
