Happy Easter

Day 3, video 3.

Today’s video is basically just a shout out to my family who are all gathered at my Grandma’s house in Thornbury right now. Well, maybe not all right now. It’s still pretty early in the afternoon in Canada so Katie, Tony, and Is will probably be arriving in the next few hours. But, once they get there, everyone will be gathered at my Grandma’s house in Thornbury.

I do mention this in the video but I am not doing anything very Eastery this weekend, except eating candy, and maybe finding something to wear in a pastel. Maybe I’ll hide some eggs around the house for Richard. I haven’t decided that yet, though.

Well, enjoy the video and, once again, thanks so much for reading (and now watching)!

Also, here are the photos from my latest wire endeavour (also featured in the video):

      1. And also some other hands-on cave crafts….

        Or an illustration…

        and
        a place to read…

        and a place to visit..

      2. Oh wow, I want that book case cave! Those Peeps dioramas are pretty amazing, too! I haven’t seen any Peeps in this country but they do have a snack by Bueno called Hungry Hippos, which are pretty tasty. Maybe I will create a new genre.

  1. Hi Kat!
WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR BLOG. IT”S BRILLIANT AND FUNNNY. Can we commission some wire sculptures and the website you sent me was TWISTED and I loved it. We had an Easter Turkey here, but apparently it lives in the back yard so we didn’t eat it. Really, we spotted a wild one in the clearing just out back by the trail. We haven’t seen the Tbury Easter Bunny yet so we think it might have been the turkey who brought Iz her Easter Eggs. I got some great dinner pictures and I’ll send them along as sooon as I get home. THe weather is fine and sunny – we missed you muchly. There were some halting yet satisfying flute-clarinet duet attempts, a Carcassone game, crafts with styrofoam balls, golf on TV, barbequing, chocolate, guac, chips and salsa, risotto, ants/Aunts…..no croquet though.
    Lots of lattes,
    love,
    All : )

    1. We didn’t eat any Peeps though. Or make sculptures, videos or dioramas with them:
      I first met them here…
      http://www.millikin.edu/staley/about/peeps/Pages/default.aspx#library
apparently sometimes they make the news and re-enact current events –

      sometimes they practice law …
      http://www.abajournal.com/news/article/top_3_peeps_in_law_entries
and apparently (this was major news to me) they also enter many, many contests … You can try the search for yourself if you have some empty hours….
