Animals & More

Plasticine is a very dirty hobby. For the last two days my hands have been greasy, sticky, and tinged blue; I went through half a bottle of soap just to clean them. But, I have managed to use every last bit of plasticine, which means it’s no longer just sitting on my shelf wasting its potential.

At first I thought I’d make mostly animals/real things to contrast with Clayliens. Then ideas became scarce, and realistic colours started to get used up, so I settled for inanimate things on which I could put faces. And then, at the end, I just went for a face on anything. The bottom line is, the clay is gone and that’s all that matters.

Now for some pictures:

Three Peas, One Pod
Claude Le Snail
Bubbles the Whale
Boots the Dinosaur
Pale Pete the White Blob with Neon Hair

Update: Upon further consideration, I probably could have made a snowman complete with carrot nose and neon scarf instead of this blob man. But I assure you, ideas were few and far between at the point when I made ol’ Pale Pete, here.
