Something Borrowed

Well, it’s official. The dream is changing. Ron left York on February 8th. He found a little bit of work in Staffordshire and gave his month’s notice to his roommates to pursue it. But, fortunately for me he’s not completely gone. He left half of his possessions in my room for safe keeping.

Among the things he left were, a lamp (now on my desk), hand soap (now in my bathroom), throw pillows (now on our couch), shelves (now covered in wire sculptures), and a bulletin board (currently waiting for some bulletins). He also left a bunch of board games and some plasticine. The plasticine is a really odd assortment of colours, mostly neon, with about six shades of pink.  I didn’t want to waste it, just sitting on a shelf, so I started playing with it. But being me and being perpetually starved for creative ideas, I just made different shapes, a cube, a cylinder, a longer cylinder, a pyramid, a disc. I stared at the left over colours wondering what I could make. Then it hit me:

A good use of pink, no?
