Where in the World is Ron II?

Last year the boys of ManHouse decided to buy a hamster. They named her Ron, in honour of our friend Ron. Reportedly, Ron spent most of her days attempting to escape and she was often found behind the toilet or in a garbage bin. Over the summer when everyone in ManHouse moved home, Ron lived in GirlHouse (and for several weeks the real Ron also lived in GirlHouse). By the time ManHouse 2 was ready to be lived in, we were told that pets would not be allowed, which meant that Ron would need to find a new home. The wonderful people at GirlHouse found a new home for Ron, but ManHouse was left feeling slightly empty and smelling a little better.

Sensing the void in the house, I decided to buy the house a gift; an electronic hamster, complete with hamster ball. While the hamster (Ron II) entertained us in the living room for about 3 hours, he quickly embarked on a life of being hidden all over the house to surprise anyone who may come across him. Ron II has been known to hide in such places as: a toilet roll tube, a Nesquik jar, a cereal box, the cheese drawer in the fridge, in a bag of rice, and under a mug amongst the dirty dishes (he was not found from this spot for over a week).

The following are just some the wacky adventures of our friend Ron:

  1. hahaha this is such a good idea! I love hamsters and I would have been so sad if I’d to give one up. The electronic hamster’s antics are funny. I wish someone would plant Ron II in areas of my house! Maybe I should do that…
