1. People who ask for a bag for one item that’s already in a bag.

2. People who order multiple items and ask “How much will that be?” before you’ve even had time to lay their items on the counter let alone ring them through the till.

3. People who vaguely point to something and say “I’ll have one of these” and when you say, “Sorry, one of which?” they just point harder and say “One of these, these!”

4. People who order multiple items but do it one at a time so that you’ve walked across the shop floor enough times to justify skipping your after work trip to the gym.

5. People who bring an entourage into the shop with them during the lunch rush when only one of them is buying something.

6. People who use a 20£ note to buy the cheapest item in the shop.

7. People who come into the shop and ignore you because they’re on a cell phone and then get mad when you ignore them until they’re off the cell phone.

8. People who come in and just say the name of an item without adding “Hello,” “Please” or “Thank you.”

9. People who don’t look at you once during an entire transaction.

10.  People who come in to complain about something they bought and ate several days ago.
