The house is slowly becoming more and more complete (emphasis on slowly). Each time I come home from work there is one more thing complete (you’d think after a whole day there’d be more than just one thing, but we take what we can get). The exciting thing that happened recently was the installation of our kitchen faucet (finally, after doing the dishes in my bathtub for 10 days). However, we learned while washing up that the right-hand sink’s drains isn’t attached to anything and so it just drains into the cupboard below. Luckily, since the rest of the kitchen is also under construction we hadn’t put anything in there yet!

After we got the sink equipped to drain into a pipe and not our cupboards we found out that it was just draining into the backyard and creating a nice little mud pile, luckily the only people who go back there are the builders. If nothing else, wet shoes will teach them to do the job right.
