Arrived in London 35 minutes early (11:25 AM). Got my luggage without a hitch, though it was dirty and still wet with Toronto rain. Took the tube to King’s Cross immediately. Between baggage claim and travel time, I arrived at the train station at 10 to 2. Bought a ticket to York and caught the 2 PM train! Arrived in York at 4 PM. Called Jennie from a pay phone and she met me at the station moments later as she was just getting off work (perfect timing).

Got a tour of Jennie tiny room and met her male cat Tinkerbell (aka Tiger, now that she knows he’s a boy). Went to Jennie’s friend’s house to feed and exercise her pet rabbit for an hour. Ordered pizza from Domino’s for dinner. Checked Facebook and email to see that Ron got me a shift at his work for the next day. I went to Girl House (Faith’s house, where Ron has been staying while he looks for a permanent place to live) to see Ron (for the first time in 2 months) and Faith (first time in 15 months). Ron prepped me for work the next day and I was back at Jennie’s and sleeping by 10:45 PM!

It was a big effin’ day!
